Dark night

As the night sets once more, the darkness enveloping the skies. As the daylight is bolted out, consumed a gentle white flake falls onto the city below. A sprawling megapolis where the richest survive and the poor feast on their scraps. The wall a great divide that keeps the poor away from dirtying the streets of towering skyscrapers. As the city goes to sleep, light after light snuffing out the slums are awakening. The cold air permeates the streets as hunters set out beyond the safety of the megapolis to make a fortune, to survive, to provide their families. A lone girl and her trusty rifle slung over her back sits on a fence awaiting for her messengers to arrive. The crows are both are eyes and harbingers, another night begins and so does the hunt. A lone young girl, a deceptive act to fool those into letting their guard down.
